As a creative Producer with not much to do in 2020 during the initial covid lockdowns, Leila started this lockdown project - making her own films - which brought together a desire to tell a myriad of stories and to push herself technically and creatively.

And this all began due to a chance meeting with a man unfairly persecuted in his own country and met with 12 years of homelessness in the UK. She was honoured to document his journey to a tribunal hearing which gave him the legal right to stay. Watch the trailer here. And the full film here. This meeting, not only opened her heart to truly listening, but gave her the drive to continue, honing her craft as a filmmaker, telling stories that inspire, uplift, or tell the truth.

Breakin' Form since then has produced a handful of documentaries, and two short fiction films, both of which are yet to be officially released.

Leila continues to work as a creative producer and project manager, with Breakin' Form as a way to express her creativity.
